Zenowing is a supporting protagonist in Power Rangers Dino Super Charge.
He is a Bird-like alien who was originally Keeper's apprentice who after finding & bonding with the Silver Energem, he became the Silver Dino Charge Ranger.
Background[]
Prior to the series, Zenowing built the Dino Charge Zords and tried to find the Energems. He only managed to find the Silver Energem. Later on, he encountered the ruthless warlord Lord Arcanon on his search for the 10 energems, including the most evil out of all of them, the Dark Energem. During their fight, Zenowing bonded with the Silver Energem. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough and Arcanon defeated and captured Zenowing. Arcanon then exposed Zenowing to the Dark Energem and created his evil counterpart, Doomwing.
Biography[]
65,000,000 years later, Doomwing impersonated the Silver Ranger and tricked the Rnagers into trusting him and giving him their information. They soon found out that it was Doomwing and that Zenowing was still combined with Doomwing and planned to free him. the Rangers were able to finally seperate Doomwing and Zenowing.
After finally being free, Zenowing at first intended to fight alone and not fight with the team. When Riley got hurt, he blamed it on Riley himself but the other Rangers told him that if Riley hadn't interfeared, Zenowing would have died. He realized they were right and healed Riley. The villains tried to re-combine Zenowing and Doomwing but luckily Riley stopped them just in time.
Zenowing luckily regained his powers and the Silver Energem. Zenowing and Doomwing engaged in a fight with Zenowing winning and Doomwing losing.
Eventually, Zenowing and the other rangers come across a scheme made by Arcanon that involved turning the whole of Amber Beach into hordes of zombies created by the monster duo Conducto and Screech, while they were able to stop them, Arcanon himself confronts the Rangers and uses the Dark Energem to transform himself into a dangerous and more powerful form of himself, after a crazy Megazord battle, Zenowing and the others are able to cancel out his powers and send him crashing down into a nearby forest, where he is destroyed by a very-much alive bounty-hunter Sledge and another criminal named Snide.
After this, Zenowing and the other Rangers are called together by Keeper and are told that in order to unlock the Energems true power, they must first destroy the dark one, and the Aqua Ranger James tells everyone that he found the monsters spaceship and Sledge's resurfacing, while the Black Ranger Chase suggests going all-out with every Zord they have, but the Pink Ranger Shelby suggests taking a sneak-attack approach, unfortunately, Sledge heard about their plan and sends his last outlaw Badussa, who's capable of petrifying anyone with his amulet and turns almost all the Rangers (included Zenowing) into statues, fortunately, prior to going on the mission, Zenowing was able to teach Shelby how to build a Zord, which she uses to build another Zord and with the surprise help from Heckyl, she is able to destroy Badussa and free the others, but not before Sledge manages to get his ship flying back into space.
Not long after this, the Rangers learn from Heckyl that the reason Sledge was missing is because he's planting eggs all over the world that will hatch into breeds of his most dangerous, strongest and biggest monster he has locked up, the Greenzilla, with Zenowing and his team fighting them all across the world, with him specifically fighting the one hatched in china. During the battle, Snide is able to discover the Rangers' base and attempts to destroy Kendall and Keeper, fortunately, Heckyl, with a change of heart, saves them at the last minute, and he, along with Zenowing and the others, destroy Snide once and for all, but the Dark Energem (which Snide took to ensure Sledge comes back for him) remains unscathed.
Little did the Rangers know was that the eggs not only hatch Greenzillas, but also form anchor-points that Sledge plans to use to pull the whole earth out of orbit. With time running out, Zenowing and the rest devise a plan to destroy the Dark Energem for good to allow the Energem's ultimate power to be unlocked, which involves getting the whole world to beam enough sunlight directly at the Dark Energem; as only light can destroy darkness, and when it begins cracking, the Rangers and Heckyl blast at it with all they got and finally obliterate the corrupted Energem once and for all, but the explosion from it created a black hole that swallows Sledge and the Earth, with the Rangers being next.
Fortunately, Keeper reminds them now that the Dark Energem is destroyed, the Energems ultimate power are now unlocked: Time-travel, which Keeper uses to send the Rangers back in time, specifically during the moment he crashed to Earth. While the other Rangers tangle with Sledge and his lieutenant Fury, they distract him long enough for Zenowing, James, Phillip, Kendall and Heckyl hijack Sledge's ship, trap him with electro-nets, and send it crashing into the sun, destroying him and his entire crew once for all.
With Sledge finally defeated and the Earth saved, Keeper happily sends the Rangers back to their original time while he sends the ones displaced in time (Koda & Ivan), and luckily for Zenowing, he is sent in time to destroy Arcanon for good and he and Heckyl become keepers of the Dark Energem, starting a brand-new adventure for him and everyone.
Eventually, on Christmas, Zenowing is called for one last mission when it was discovered that one monster, a Christmas-themed criminal named Heximas had escaped Sledge's ship before it crashed into the sun and spent the last 65 million years perfecting a (rather slow-minded) scheme to put the whole world under his control, fortunately, Zenowing and the rest are able to permanently destroy him for good. Afterwards, he and the rest of the Rangers enjoy a wonderful Christmas and a surprise visit from Santa Claus.
Personality[]
Due to being trapped inside his evil-half for millions of years, Zenowing refused to allow the other Rangers to aid him in his plans and told the other Rangers to stay out of his way. He blamed Riley for getting hurt but realized he saved his life and healed Riley, thanking him for doing so, along with once again valuing the power of teamworked.
