Trivia[]

  • The Playhouse Disney version of this video special omits the 2nd half of the Special Thanks credits to the endboard.
  • This video marked:
    • The latest appearance of Wags' 3rd costume.
    • The second and last video to have Tom King as the 3D animator before he became a storyboard director and writer for the Nickelodeon TV show, SpongeBob SquarePants from 2005-2015.
    • The last time The Wiggles would use their original BONDS long sleeved tees as their skivvies and plain black pants. Starting from 2002, the pants would have a trim of the specific colour than on and the skivvies would have turtlenecks. In that case it's the second and last Wiggles Christmas video to have them, first being Wiggly, Wiggly Christmas (1999).
      • Their original BONDS skivvies were made out of cotton as experts warned the group that wearing these long sleeved tees over time could make tiny holes caused by their belts. This could mean according to Anthony during the 2022 Today Show interview he commented "We sweated so much in these skivvies, and at one show, Murray was sweating, and one child in the audience yelled out "Murray's melting!" and the other people in the audience thought that we might have to update them."
    • The last Wiggles video where Carolyn Ferrie and Elisha Burke provided Dorothy's voice.
      • Ferrie, however, would return as Dorothy’s voice beginning with Santa's Rockin'! in 2004 and continue the role until 2009.
    • The last Wiggles video to have the bee and flower endboard from TV Series 2.
    • The first Christmas video of the 2000's.
    • The first Christmas video to have Santa Claus' voice by Paul Paddick.
  • It's the third Wiggles video to have prologues on all the songs after Yummy Yummy in 1994 and Wiggly Wiggly World! in 2000.
  • Officer Beaples & the Wagetts are absent.
  • "Here Come The Reindeer" and "Curoo Curoo" were first performed in the 2000 Carols in the Domain.
  • Among the toys in "Jimmy The Elf" are a Big Red Car and Dorothy the Dinosaur.
  • In "And the World Is One On A Christmas Morning", The Wiggles sing the song in the studio, with clips of various children and other relatives of The Wiggles and their staff. This includes Greg's daughter, Madison Page, Murray's daughter Georgia Munro-Cook, son Hamish Munro-Cook and many of Anthony's nieces and nephews.
  • Angels We Have Heard On High and the closing scene were likely filmed back-to-back due to all of the same people being in the same location.
  • The CGI animation for "Jimmy The Elf" is similar to that of "Caveland".
  • This is the first Wiggles video to be released in North America the same year as the Australian release.
    • It's also the first Wiggles video to be released in North America before Australia.
  • It was the first holiday video released on DVD.
  • The US VHS was re-released in October 2002 (alongside the reprint of Wiggly, Wiggly Christmas).
  • It was the first non-concert video to be filmed at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
  • This was the first video to credit The Wiggles as individual characters.
  • Like It's a Wiggly Wiggly World!, this video had the same background animation as TV Series 2.
  • The Red Starry Guitar was originally going to be in the video along with the Red Takamine Guitar and the Black Takamine Guitar.
  • In the Song selection menu of the DVD, this is the second time that the Red Starry Guitar is seen on the menu. The first time was Wiggly TV in the "Sing Along with The Wiggles" menu.
  • Like It's a Wiggly Wiggly World!, this video had numerous songs with sound effects, like during "Come On Everybody (We'll Tap For You)", in which the part with Santa tap-dancing had sound effects from Warner Bros, Series 2000 and Hanna-Barbera.
  • The North American release was six days before the Australian release.
  • Like the 1999 version of Wiggly Wiggly Christmas, the Bee and Flower logo in this video does not have any sound effects.
  • In America, This was the first video to be released by HIT Entertainment, 2 months after it acquired Lyrick Studios.
  • Dorothy the Dinosaur has two voices in this video: Carolyn Ferrie and Elisha Burke.
  • During the intro of Christmas Polka, Santa Claus mentioned Little Greg from The Little Wiggles.
  • The 2001 US VHS cover art uses the same picture from The Wiggly Big Show.
  • In early new copies of the AUS video tape from select stores, you would receive a "Bonus Wiggly Christmas Growth Chart"
  • The VHS inside cover advertises the following videos:
  • The DVD inside cover advertises for Hoop-Dee-Doo it's a Wiggly Party and Wiggly TV.
  • This is the only North American Wiggles VHS to have different covers for both releases instead of 1 release. In addition both use the same master.
  • The 20th Century Fox reprint disc for the US DVD is black.
  • Wags' previous costume is seen in the video, due to it being filmed before Hoop-Dee-Doo it's a Wiggly Party.
  • This is the last Wiggles video where Anthony has brown hair.
  • This is the only North American DVD to have narration for the menus.
  • The Australian VHS was released on the same day Hoop-Dee-Doo it's a Wiggly Party got released on DVD.
  • The US 2002 reprint VHS reuses the font from the 2001 VHS on the tape label, but the Canadian copy doesn't.
  • On November 22, 2023, this video was uploaded to The Wiggles' YouTube channel.
