William James "Willem" Dafoe is an American actor and voice actor known for his distinctive raspy voice. He is most notable for playing the Green Goblin in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy. He also appeared in other films, like Shadow of the Vampire, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, and The Grand Budapest Hotel. He also voiced Rat in the 2009 adaptation of Fantastic Mr. Fox.
For Disney, he voiced Gill in the 2003 Disney/Pixar film, Finding Nemo, Tars Tarkas in the 2012 Disney film, John Carter, and Cob in Tales from Earthsea. He reprised the role again as Gill in the 2016 sequel, Finding Dory. He also played Leonhard Seppala in Togo.
