Who Framed Roger Rabbit 3: Battle For The Multiverse is an upcoming live-action/computer traditional animated fantasy-romantic-musical-black slapstick comedy film and a sequel to Who Framed Roger Rabbit 2: Rise In The Crossover, a crossover/sequel to The Nexus Event and Multiverse Of Madness and the third and final part in this trilogy. It will be produced by Walt Disney Pictures and 20th Century Studios in association with Walden Media, Regency Enterprises, Bagdasarian Productions and Mandeville Films. The film was distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures under its Walt Disney Pictures label. The film will be THX-certified and presented in 3D Disney Digital 3D, Real D 3D, IMAX, IMAX 3D, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, and ScreenX. The film will be released on December 24, 2024 in theaters and streaming on Disney+.
Synopsis[]
After the events of the second film, after the demise of Wacky Doom Jr., his father, Wacky Doom Sr., arises to exterminate all toons with an artificial intelligence known as T.O.O.N.K.I.L.L.E.R. However, things only worsen when Daniel Valiant finds out his brother Jonathan is secretly working alongside Wacky Doom Sr., due to the fact that he also hates toons. So now, it is up to Daniel, Scarlett, Roger, and the others to tour through the multiverse to put an end to Wacky Doom Sr. and T.O.O.N.K.I.L.L.E.R.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit 3: Battle For The Multiverse was theatrically released in the United States on December 24, 2024, in regular showings and in select RealD 3D Dolby Cinema and 4DX by Walt Disney Pictures; it also streamed on paid tiers of Disney+ for days. It was originally scheduled for release on April 26, 2024, but was delayed to July 26, 2024 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, before moving up to December 24, 2024.
