Reception[]
The episode was met with critical acclaim and is the best reviewed Christmas Special. Praise went to it's humour, George's backstories and franchise continuity. It was also praised for bringing an end to the Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac gag.

- George finally reveals why he hates the song Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac as much as he does - because since his mother Eleanor Jacqueline (aka Sadie), lost her husband and could never stop thinking about her former teammates, when he was very young, she used to drink a lot and even beat up George without realising, while the song was playing as it was the one song she could use to get her anger out.
