Weird World: The TV Show (also referred to as Weird World: The Series, The Weird World Series or simply Weird World) is an award winning British/American animated series produced by Disney Television Animation, and created and directed by Reloaxa, based on the film with the same name, which Reloaxa also directed, wrote and starred in. The series premiered on June 7, 2019 on Disney Channel in the United Kingdom, ending on March 6, 2027. It premiered in the United States on August 16, 2019 and ended on May 22nd 2027. There are 196 total episodes, all (except for four) of which are written by Reloaxa. The characters from the film return and they embark on more madness and adventures, fighting monsters, saving their home and friends (sometimes each other) and finding relics, with plenty of laughs and tears to go round. Most of the episodes are rated U/TV-G, but some are rated PG/TV-PG, usually for violence, sexual references, scary scenes and mild language. A lot of the original film's cast respire their roles, although a few were replaced.
Just like the films, the series received universal acclaim. It was praised for it's writing, humour, action, storylines, creativity, character development, subject matters and connections with the films.
