1995 Prologue Transcript[]
Jeff: Hey, Murray, where are you going with those bones?
Murray: This food's for Wags the Dog, he kept me awake all last night, he was barking because he was hungry!
Anthony: Food? Did you say food, Murray? I'm really hungry!
Greg: Oh, Anthony, you're always hungry!
Murray: Anthony, this food's for Wags the Dog, not Anthony the Wiggle!
Anthony: (Barking)
Lyrics[]
English[]
Oh me, oh my
He barks all day and night
VERSE 1
Here comes Wags, my dog Wags
He eats so much as his tummy drags
Oh me, oh my
He barks all day and night
He runs around and digs the ground
He plays with bones, and he makes this sound
Oh me, oh my
He barks all day and night
CHORUS
I love Wags so much that I pat his head
But all night long, I hear him bark
While I'm lying in my bed
I want to sleep, I can't sleep
He'll stop barking if I give him something to eat
Oh me, oh my. He barks all day and night
Oh, Wags! Please stop barking! I'm trying to get some sleep here. But, please, Wags! Stop barking, come on!
CHORUS
VERSE 1
Oh me, oh my
He barks all day and night (13x)
Español[]
Ay ay ay ay, él ladra sin parar
Ahí viene Wags, mi perro Wags
Come tanto que su panza arrastra
Ay ay ay ay, él ladra sin parar
Corre veloz, excava bien

Mandarin (Taiwan)[]
Oh me oh my 一直叫停不下來
Here comes Wags, my dog Wags
Oh me oh my 一直叫停不下來
Oh me oh my 一直叫停不下來
Oh me oh my 一直叫停不下來
Here comes Wags, my dog Wags
Oh me oh my 一直叫停不下來

Trivia[]
- This song gives thanks to Terry Murray for the guitar work and Greg Truman for the backing vocals.
- The 2003 instrumental track of the song is played on the opening and closing credits of Wiggledancing! Live In The U.S.A.. It's also played in the closing credits of 15 Years of Wiggly Fun! and as background music during the Wags and Dorothy segment in the Series 6 episode "Oh, Captain!".
- It also revealed that The Wiggles originally didn't plan to have the song's instrumental in the special features DVD menu of "Here Comes The Big Red Car", but after realizing that "On Your Holiday" did not appear in the main video, it replaced the former at the last minute.
- Jeff voices Wags the Dog in this song.
- The intro for the 1996 Live and 2006 versions had one Wiggle ask another Wiggle what Wags looks like while he's standing behind that Wiggle.
- Like the intro for the 1996 live clip, one Wiggle asking about Wags' features to another Wiggle, however, the only difference was in the 1996 live intro Jeff asked Murray about Wags' features whereas in this intro, Greg asked Jeff about Wags' features.
- The 1995 instrumental track is played in the Series 2 episode "Family".
- The 1995 version plays in A and the 2007 version in Wiggles World plays in E.
- Footage from the 1995 video was shown in flashbacks during "We're Dancing With Wags The Dog" in The Wiggles Reunion Show.
- It is not known if the 1995 music video originally appeared on the early GMTV cut of the Series 2 episode "Storytelling".
- The vocals singing at the beginning are off-sync with the tempo of the song.
- The lyrics may have been inspired by ”My Dog Rags”, a popular Canadian children’s song from the 1950s, since the first two lines of both songs are very similar.
