Vivienne is a minor character from The Sword in the Stone and The Sword in the Stone II: The Mystic Isle. She is the loyal nursemaid of Princess Guinevere. She is voiced by Martha Wentworth in The Sword in the Stone.
Character[]
In The Sword in the Stone, Vivienne appeared as an older, fat, maroon-colored female squirrel. When Avalon isle was restored to it's former glory, she was returned to her natural form: a short, stout, older woman with maroon-brown hair and eyes. She wears an eggplant colored dress over a white underdress, a white apron, and a lilac kerchief on her head.
Vivienne's most pronounced characteristic is her priggish nature. She has a way with manners, but shows no patience for those who do not act the same. Alhough Vivienne dislikes Merlin, they are similar in several ways: they can both be wise and friendly, or stubborn and tempermental, and they both care for a child of nobility (Guinevere and Arthur, respectively.)
