Vincent Afton the 1st was the father of Vincent Afton the 2nd and William Afton and grandfather of Terrence and Chris Afton.
He is the overarching antagonist of the entire franchise, who is responsible for Vincent's descent into madness. He appears in a flashback scene in Sister Location (2000).
He favours William over Vincent as the ladder had accidentally gotten him critically injured.

Vincent appears in a flashback scene when William is telling Michael the story about how the animatronics were always dangerous.
In 1977, Vincent the 2nd wanted to show off Funtime Foxy to his father. He had forgotten to turn off the fox’s violent AI however. This resulted in Vincent the 1st to be attacked by Funtime Foxy. After the incident, he cut off all ties with his oldest son. He later died from his injuries that same year.

Vincent the 1st appears as an bald, elderly man with tan skin and hazel eye. wearing an eyepatch. He gained numerous scars on his face. He wore a purple robe.
Personality[]
Vincent was shown to be a calm, quiet, stern man. According to William, he favoured him over the 2nd.
After the incident, he hated Vincent as well as any other animatronics for that matter.
