Before the Disaster:[]

Before the darkness of the Disaster struck, Valerka lived a life filled with joy, wonder, and magical performance. As the youngest of three siblings, Valerka always felt a little different from his older brothers, Egor and Kirill, and his older sister, Lavanda. While his siblings were often more focused on leadership, battle, and strategy, Valerka had always been drawn to the whimsical side of life—magic, illusion, and creativity.

Valerka’s natural affinity for magic was encouraged by his family, and under their support, he began to hone his abilities. When Lavanda was appointed the leader of Kitten Village, Valerka fully embraced his magical nature and took on the role of CatLand’s resident magician. He became a beloved figure in Kitten Village, performing dazzling tricks and illusions in the marquee arena, entertaining audiences from all over CatLand with his fantastic displays of magic. His shows ranged from simple sleight of hand tricks to complex magical feats that left the audience in awe.

Though his magical abilities were formidable, Valerka’s heart was always kind and pure. He loved making people smile and bringing joy to the lives of those around him. His performances were not just about spectacle; they were about sharing the beauty and wonder of the world, even in the smallest things.

During the Disaster:[]

The arrival of the Ink-Blot Demon and the subsequent betrayal by M.D. Zephyros Blackwell shattered the peace and joy that Valerka had known. His once colorful and vibrant performances in the marquee arena came to a tragic halt as the demon’s shadow loomed over CatLand. Zephyros, a once trusted inventor and ally, betrayed his comrades—Kirill, Lavanda, Kristy, Admiral Kathrine, and the genius two-tailed cats Camilla and Kazbek—to further his own ambitions. His betrayal led to the downfall of CatLand, pushing the kingdom into ruin as the Ink-Blot Demon unleashed destruction.

Though Valerka was heartbroken by the chaos that ensued, he did not give up hope. Camilla and Kazbek, the brilliant children of Kirill and Kristy, managed to seal the Ink-Blot Demon within the Cistern, bringing a temporary end to the threat. However, the damage had already been done. CatLand was left in a state of ruin, and Valerka’s once joyous life was filled with grief and sorrow.

After the Disaster (In-Game):[]

When the events of Epic Egor unfold, Valerka has become a more serious figure, although his sense of magic and wonder still shines through. He is now a third playable character, bringing his unique magical abilities to the fight against the remnants of the Ink-Blot Demon’s influence. Equipped with his Magician Axe—a weapon that combines magic and raw power—Valerka fights not only with physical force but with an array of magical spells that allow him to manipulate his environment, conjure illusions, and perform feats of incredible agility and precision.

Valerka is also accompanied by his trusty sidekick, Ricky the Bat. Ricky is not just a pet but a loyal companion who assists Valerka in combat and exploration. Together, they make a formidable team, with Ricky scouting ahead, collecting items, and even helping Valerka overcome obstacles. Ricky is more than just a partner—he’s a symbol of the bond that Valerka has with the magic of CatLand, a reminder of the wonder that still exists, even in the darkest of times.

Valerka’s magic and combat style make him an incredibly versatile character. His Magician Axe allows him to strike down enemies with power, while his magic lets him enchant his surroundings, cast protective barriers, and summon illusions to confuse and distract foes. Players will need to use both his magical abilities and Ricky’s assistance to solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, and fight the forces of darkness still plaguing CatLand.

Despite the hardships he’s endured, Valerka retains a spark of optimism, a belief that, through magic and courage, the world can once again be filled with light and laughter. He is driven by the memory of the days before the Disaster, when magic could bring joy, and he is determined to see CatLand restored to its former glory.
