Under the Mistletoe is a song from the 1974 album An Adaptation of Dickens' Christmas Carol, Performed by The Walt Disney Players. It is sung while Scrooge sees a younger version of himself meeting Isabelle (Daisy Duck) and falling in love.
In the original issue, the first is repeated after a section dialogue is presented, but it is removed from the 1983 reissue and is set in a different key. However, in Mickey's Christmas Carol', a variant of the melody are included during Scrooge's visit to the past.
Lyrics[]
(2x) Oh a merry Christmas this is under the mistletoe
Candlelight and kids and kisses warm from the fires glow
Pretty presents gayly wrapped there under the Christmas tree
What a happy holiday for you and me
With you I’ll go ‘neath the mistletoe
Just you and no else
We’ll make this moment last a lifetime
Or at least until the snowman melts
Soon the evening will be over under the mistletoe
Let us dance the Christmas waltz before its time to go
Years from now I’ll still recall the night so long a go
With the Christmas kiss you gave to me under the mistletoe
