Tyler Gerald "Ty" Burrell is an American actor, voice actor, and comedian, who is best known for his main role as Phil Dunphy in the ABC sitcom Modern Family from 2009 to 2020, as well as the character Mr. Peabody in the Dreamworks animated film, Mr. Peabody and Sherman.
For Disney, he played Connor in the 2007 Disney mystery adventure film, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, and plays an Interpol inspector agent named Jean Pierre Napoleon in the 2014 Disney musical comedy film, Muppets Most Wanted. He also voiced Big Jack in the Disney Channel/Disney Junior pre-school children's series Doc McStuffins and Bailey in the 2016 Disney/Pixar film, Finding Dory and Gregory in The Deracine Movie (Papa Louie Pals.
Additionally, he played Leonard Samson in the 2008 Marvel Cinematic Universe movie The Incredible Hulk.
