Twisted Wonderland, ( ディズニー ツイステッドワンダーランド Dizunī tsuisuteddowandārando) is a Japanese battle/rhythm game based on the Disney Villains franchise co-created by Walt Disney Japan and Aniplex.
In this game, the player takes the role of the protagonist (Yū). They tumble into a magic mirror called the Mirror of Darkness which brings them to the world of Twisted Wonderland. There the protagonist finds themselves enrolled in a magic training school called Night Raven College. There, the masked headmaster, Dire Crowley, offers you protection while you search for a way back home. To do so, you need the help of your fellow classmates.
However, as talented as they may be, the students here are all uncooperative troublemakers. Will you ever be able to work with them and return to your original world? And just what secrets are these students hiding, who hold the souls of villains...?

Ramshackle[]
Main Character (Yū) - The main playable character of the game, a normal human brought magical brought to Night Raven College despite not having magical powers of their own. Due to this they were placed in a rundown dorm outside the main campus. Despite their lack of magic they are still willing to help with what ever magic trouble that goes on around the college.
Grim - A hot headed fire monster cat, and the only other student of the Ramshackle dorm. He tried to steal Your spot as a student once You arrived at the college, but due to him trashing the college after a fit of rage after being called a cat, was put into Ramshackle with You as both would be enrolled as one student. A slight glutton when it comes to food of any kind.
Riddle Rosehearts (voiced by Natsuki Hanae) - Housewarden of the Heartslabyul dorm, Riddle is a 2nd year student with a hard-working attitude. Riddle lives his life by the strict rules of life set by the great Queen Of Hearts, and will not hesitate to punish those who break any of them. Also know to have a short temper when ever his height is brought up (represents the Queen Of Hearts).
Trey Clover (voiced by Ryota Suzuki) - Vice Housewarden, Trey is a 3rd year and close friend of Riddle and acts as the perfect weight to balance Riddle out. Trey is relatively calm and rational, while being more laid-back about following the Queen Of Hearts' rules. Trey is just an over all nice guy that any student can go to for help... or a really good cake as baking is a passion of his.
Cater Diamond (voiced by Tatsuyuki Kobayashi) - 3rd year Cater is one of the most popular students at Night Raven College, and is always in the know. Being an social media star he is always with the latest trends and slang of the day. Due to this Cater is very easy-going and peppy,
Ace Trappola (voiced by Seiichiro Yamashita) - One of the first people You gets in trouble with, Ace is a brash but good hearted 1st year student. While a little lacking in the academic area Ace is always there when you need a friend, but don't expect him to not want something in return for his help (represents the ace playing card guards).
Deuce Spade (voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi) - One of the first people You'll get in trouble with. A straightforward 1st year student with a competitive nature, who has a simple but respectfully mindset. Is trying to recover from being an ex-delinquent for the sake of his mother (represents the spade playing card guards).
Leona Kingscholar (voiced by Yuichiro Umehara) - Housewarden of the Savanaclaw dorm. A held back 3rd year, most perceive Leona as a lazy, arrogant slacker, as he often wants nothing to do with matters he deems below him (i.e. school). While most blame his royal upbringing as the 2nd son of the king for his attitude, he has an inferiority complex because of this. A lion beastman (represents Scar).
Ruggie Bucchi (voiced by Aoi Ichikawa) - A 2nd year students and Leona's right-hand beastman. A cheerful and mischievous little guy, Ruggie is relatively laid back about life. A hyena beastman (represents Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed).
Jack Howl (voiced by Taito Ban) - A tall and sturdy 1st year student. Looks up to Leona despite his arrogant nature, but rather distant even to people he sees as friends. Despite his cold, punkish demeanor, Jack is very intelligent, and would much rather face a challenge head-on than find some way to cheat around it. A wolf beastman
Azul Ashengrotto (voiced by Atsushi Tamaru) - Housewarden of the Octavinelle dorm. Like Riddle, Azul is a very esteemed 2nd year con-artist. Very intelligent and smart with his words to easily trick people into doing his bidding, although secretly insecure of himself (represents Ursula).
Jade Leech (voiced by Wataru Komada) - Vice Housewarden of the Octavinelle dorm. One of Azul's right hand men, and the more formal of the two. He is more calm and collected than his twin brother, Floyd (represents Jetsam).
Floyd Leech (voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto) - One of Azul's right hand men, being the more absent minded of the two. Has more of a destructive and lazy personality than his twin brother, Jade (represents Flotsam).
Kalim Al-Asim (voiced by Kazuki Furuta) - Housewarden of the Scarabia dorm. Unlike most students at Night Raven College and his 2nd year peers, Kalim seems to be the only genuine friendly face. As welling to help others, although oblivious if he is the one causing destruction (represents The Sultan).
Jamil Viper (voiced by Kaname Futaba) - Vice Housewarden of the Scarabia dorm. Like Kalim he is a 2nd year, and due to his family's generational connection with Kalim's family, the two have been friends since childhood. Unlike Kalim though, Jamil is cunning and meticulous, often times resenting his royal as 'the prince's best friend' (represents Jafar).
Vil Schoenheit (voiced by Hiroki Aiba) - Housewarden of the Pomefiore dorm. Unlike other 3rd year students in his class, Vil is very fixated on his appearance and beauty on a whole. He has a disdain for anything that isn't at its most beautiful form, and because of this, Vil is very hard working in all regards (represents the Evil Queen).
Rook Hunt (voiced by Yojiro Itokawa) - Vice Housewarden of the Pomefiore dorm. Rook is a mysterious 3rd year. Even Vil knows little of him, as Rook likes to keep his secrets. Has been seen to try and hunt members of the Savanaclaw dorm (represents the huntsman).
Epel Felmier (voiced by Shinba Tsuchiya) - Despite at first glace his soft-spoken look, Epel is a 1st year student that hails from the countryside. Has a short temper and a rough speaking style, despite his feminine looks (less based on a character, more based on the concept of the poison apple).
Idia Shroud (voiced by Kōki Uchiyama) - Housewarden of the Ignihyde dorm. Idia is a massive 3rd year loner and prefers to stay inside his dorm, using his younger brother Ortho to do his outside work. When forced out his is shy and very dark nature. However, sometimes he has fits of spontaneous outburst and becomes strangely animated (represents Hades).
Ortho Shroud (voiced by Shouta Aoi) - While not an actual student at the school, he is allowed to attend the same classes as Idia, his brother. Unlike his brother, Ortho is very bright and outgoing, much like a young child (doesn't represent an existing Hercules character).
Malleus Draconia (voiced by Kazuki Kato) - Housewarden of the Diasomnia dorm. Despite being a 3rd year, it is said that he is one of the most powerful magic users in the land. Because of this, Malleus is mature and reserved, so as to protect the other students that fear him (represents Maleficent).
Lillia Vanrouge (voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa) - Vice Housewarden of the Diasomnia dorm. Lilia has a warm personality, for a 3rd year, but can be strict when necessary. Like Malleus, he is also very powerful.
Sebek Zigvolt (voiced by Haruki Ishiya) - A hot-headed but intelligent and honest 1st year. Has a strange deep connection with Lillia and Silver.
Silver (voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki) - A reserved 2nd year student, who is skilled in sword fighting, but often finds himself sleepy. Has a strange connection with Lillia and Sebek.

Dire Crowley - The strange Headmaster of Night Raven College. Despite his slightly off-kilter attitude, Crowley is wise beyond his years about magic and how it works (represents Diablo The Raven from Sleeping Beauty, despite being crow-like in name and design).
Divus Crewel - The science and alchemy teacher. Cares very much about his fashion, and refuse to compromise in any way (represents Cruella De Vil from One Hundred and One Dalmatians).
Mozus Trein - The magic history teacher. Very strict in his teaching, and many students fear him and his cat Luclus (represents Lady Tremaine and Lucifer from Cinderella).
Ashton Vargas - The P.E. teacher. A very muscle headed narcissist (represents Gaston from Beauty And The Beast).
Sam - The school shop owner. Seemingly able to have everything anyone would want, and is always ready to make a sale (represents Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog).
Adaptations[]
A manga adaptation titled Disney Twisted Wonderland - Episode of Heartslabyul, was released by Square Enix's manga magazine Monthly G-Fantasy with art by Koono Sumire and written by Wakana Hazuki. Yana Toboso is also involved.
It was announced that an anime adaptation is in development for Disney+.[1]
Trivia[]
Night Raven College and its different Houses are clearly a reference to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and its Houses (Griffyndor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff, respectively) in the Harry Potter franchise.
