Toy Story 5 is an upcoming American 3D computer-animated adventure-comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It serves as a sequel to Toy Story 4 and the fifth flagship installment of the Toy Story franchise.

Synopsis

The main conflict of the film focuses on a new threat for the toys.... technology aka iPad kids.

On February 8, 2023, during the Q1 earnings call, Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed that a fifth Toy Story film was in development.

On February 7, 2024, during the Q1 earnings call, Bob Iger confirmed that the film would be released on June 19, 2026.

• This is the second Pixar film to be released on June 19, after Inside Out.
• This will be the fourth Pixar film to be directed by Andrew Stanton after Finding Nemo, WALL-E, and Finding Dory.
