Thomas Cruise Mapother IV, known professionally as Tom Cruise, is an American actor and producer. Some of his best known roles include Ethan Hunt in the Mission Impossible franchise, the title character in Jerry Maguire and Pete "Maverick" Mitchell in Top Gun, and it's 2022 sequel, Top Gun: Maverick.
For Disney, he played Vincent Lauria in the 1986 Touchstone Pictures film, The Color of Money and Brian Flanagan in the 1988 Touchstone Pictures film, Cocktail. He was also mentioned in the Lizzie McGuire episodes "Misadventures in Babysitting" and "In Miranda Lizzie Does Not Trust", The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, and the Hannah Montana episode "Wherever I Go".

- Cruise was originally going to produce and star in the role of Tony Stark/Iron Man in Iron Man during its early years of development, but at the end, he abandoned the film's production after years of delays and Robert Downey Jr. was cast in the role instead years later when the film was finally made.[1]
