Development

On April 30, 2023, Yara Shahidi shared the news during Disney’s annual shareholder’s meeting Monday, that a live-action remake of the 2008 animated film, Tinker Bell, would be in development.

On May 31, 2023, Thomas Kail was announced to be the film's director. Yara Shahidi will played Queen Clarion instead.

Taylor Swift was set to her role of Tinker Bell, in the live-action remake.
