Timothy Allen Dick, known professionally as Tim Allen, is an American actor and comedian. He is best known for his roles as Tim Taylor in Home Improvement and Mike Baxter in Last Man Standing.
For Disney productions, he played Tim "The Toolman" Taylor in Home Improvement, Mike Baxter in Last Man Standing, voiced Buzz Lightyear in the Disney/Pixar Toy Story franchise, Scott Calvin/Santa Claus in The Santa Clause films, Michael Cromwell in Jungle 2 Jungle, Dave Douglas in The Shaggy Dog, Elliot Arnold in Big Trouble, Doug Madsen in Wild Hogs, the narrator in the 2012 Disneynature documentrary film, Chimpanzee, and Classic Freddy Fazbear in the 2020 Live Action Remake of Five Nights at Freddy's
In 1999, he was named a Disney Legend, claiming the record for shortest time between his first contribution for Disney (in 1991, when he first started to work on Home Improvement) and being named a Disney Legend, until Phil Collins beat it in 2002.
