Thunderbolts* is an American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name and a sequel to Black Widow. It was released on May 2, 2025, and was the thirty-sixth film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the final film of Phase Five. It was directed by Jake Schreier and written by Eric Pearson and Joanna Calo. It was produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
