Thomas Montgomery Newman is an American film composer, usually for Pixar films. Thomas Newman is the cousin of Randy Newman, who has also composed soundtracks for Pixar and Disney. He has had achievements and awards for his works in Finding Nemo and WALL-E (both directed by Andrew Stanton) and was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Score for Saving Mr. Banks.
He was previously picked to score Wreck-It Ralph, but was replaced by Henry Jackman. This may be because he was too busy working on the score to Skyfall.
Newman is the second out of six composers to work on a Pixar film (the first being his cousin Randy).
