The Hunchback of Notre Dame III is a 2005 direct to video sequel to 1996's The Hunchback of Notre Dame and 2002's The Hunchback of Notre Dame II. To appease fans the film returns to the darker roots of the first film since the second one was less well received because of its lighter tone. This will complete a trilogy of films. The film was release on DVD and VHS on March 22, 2005 then re-released on VHS and DVD on June 21, 2005 along with the first two films and can be found in Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame trilogy DVD box set. The film was released on Blu-Ray on March 12, 2013 in along with The Hunchback of Notre Dame and The Hunchback of Notre Dame II.

- Tom Hulce as Quasimodo. The film's main protagonist along with Esmeralda. The Hunchback who lives in the cathedral. He is now in a relationship with Madellaine since the second film and thinks that he has finally found hapiness.
- Demi Moore as Esmeralda. The film's main protagonist along with Quasimodo. A beautiful gypsy woman who has been married to Captain Phoebus and is the best friend of Quasimodo and Madellaine.
- Richard E. Grant as Jehan Frollo. The film's main antagonist. The younger brother of Judge Claude Frollo who was killed several years before. He and Claude's parents were murdered by gypsies when they were young and raised by a woman named Gudule, who taught them their strict view on justice. He later joined the military where he became friends with fellow younger new recruit Phoebus. Years later he is promoted to general and decides to use this new power to finally take his revenge on the ones who caused his brother's death.
- Jennifer Love Hewitt as Madellaine. The film's secondary protagonist along with Captain Phoebus. The woman who is now in a relationship with Quasimodo.
- Kevin Kline as Captain Phoebus. The film's secondary protagonist along with Madellaine. The captain of the guard. Esmeralda's husband, Zephry's father and a good friend of Quasimodo.
- Will Friedle as Zephry. The son of Esmeralda and Captain Phoeubs.
- Charles Kimbrough as Victor. The Younger of the Three Gargoyles.

Plot[]
It has been 12 years since the events of The Hunchback of Notre Dame II and Quasimodo thinks that he has finally found hapiness with Madellaine. Meanwhile Zephyr is enlisting into the French army being trained by his father.
Unknown to them the brother of Judge Claude Frollo, Jehan is being promoted for helping win a battle against Spain to a general. With this power he decides to go and get his revenge on those who overthrew and caused the death of his brother.
