"The Beautiful Briny" is a song written by the Sherman Brothers from Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Professor Emelius Browne and Miss Eglantine Price sing it while in the Naboombu Lagoon and getting comfortable there. It is included in the video Disney Sing Along Songs: You Can Fly! and some of the Codfish Ball scenes were shown during the song At the Codfish Ball in the video Disney Sing Along Songs: Under the Sea.

Trivia

• The song was supposed to be used in Mary Poppins for the compass sequence but it was cut at the final print.
• In between 1977 - 1978 at Disneyland and Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, a Beautiful Briny Deep unit based on this scene in the film appeared in the Main Street Electrical Parade. One of the floats featured the Briny Boys performing a different variation of the song's instrumental bridge in front of a whale. It was heard alongside the "A Bit Bubbly" music in the unit, which the latter was made exclusively for the parade.
