(The scene takes place at the grounds of Neuschwanstein Castle; Dotty, Wolfie (who are both in their agent vests), Buffo, and Musa are talking with Oso who is in his red uniform for his training exercise.)
Dotty: Listen up Oso, for today's training exercise, you'll have to recover this crown.
(She shows the picture to Oso)
Dotty: It's somewhere inside Neuschwanstein Castle. Along the way, you will see a sword in the stone. You can pull it out for bonus points. Once you find the crown, head to the throne room and we'll place it on your head and title you "king for the day". I'll dress up as a princess.
Wolfie: I'll dress up as a prince.
Buffo: I'll dress up as a duke.
(Musa then poses something army-like)
Wolfie: And Musa will dress up as a general. Now pay attention, Oso. There are many rooms in that castle, some are inside and some are outside. So be sure to check outside within the castle area if you can't find anything inside.
Oso: Sounds like a plan. (talks to the viewer) Say, do you see Neuschwanstein Castle anywhere?
(An unseen and unspoken viewer tells Oso where is is.)
Oso: (talks to the viewer) Oh, there it is. Thanks. Now I'm ready to go.
(Oso takes off.)
Wolfie: Good luck, Oso.
(Meanwhile at Richmond, Virginia at an elementary school...)
Teacher: Okay class, you know how scavenger hunt works. Good luck finding the items.
(Two kids named Jeff and Jocelyn are partners for the hunt)
Jeff: I'm excited that we have our first scavenger hunt, Jocelyn.
Jocelyn: Me too, Jeff. But, I don't understand this list. It doesn't make any sense.
Jeff: Hmmm. I can't understand it either. School will be over soon.
(They didn't know Shutterbug was watching them. He then sends an alert to the U.N.I.Q.U.E. tracking satellite which transfers the message to Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, Germany)
(Inside Neuschwanstein Castle, Oso is having trouble)
Oso: This castle is a big place. The crown could be anywhere.
(He leans to the window.)
Oso: Dotty and Wolfie told me to find new places within the castle area, I just can't remember where.
(Then...)
Paw Pilot: Special Alert! Special Alert!
(Startled, Oso falls out of the window and saves himself using a grappling hook pen to save himself from hitting the ground hard.)
Oso: It's all part of the plan, more or less.
(His watch blares)
Mr. Dos (voice through watch): Special Agent Oso, Mr. Dos here. It's a matter of hunting. Jeff and Jocelyn are on a scavenger hunt to find the items on the list. But they don't understand the list. Your special assignment: Help Jeff and Jocelyn play scavenger hunt.
Oso: Sounds like a plan. (talks to the viewer) But this could get tricky. Would you help me with this special assignment?
(The unseen and unspoken viewer agrees)
Oso: Great! (talks to Paw Pilot) Paw Pilot, what special steps will I need for this assignment?
(Cue "Three Special Steps")
Paw Pilot: ♪ Three special steps, that's all you need. Three special steps, and you'll succeed. Your special assignment is starting now, and three special steps will show you how. Step 1 - Read through the list. Step 2 - Find the items on the list. Step 3 - Bring the items back to the teacher. Three special steps, so now you know. Three special steps and you're ready to go! The checklist has all the steps you need. Just follow them all and you will succeed with three special steps!
(Oso's watch blares)
Mr. Dos (voice through watch): Hurry Oso, school will be over soon.
(Then, Whirlybird came)
Whirlybird: Hey, Oso. You need a lift?
Oso: I sure do, Whirlybird!
(Whirlybird then grabs Oso)
Oso: (talks to Paw Pilot) What's the code-name for today's special assignment, Paw Pilot?
Paw Pilot: ♪ Special Assignment Code-name: (speaks) Hunt Another Day.
(Note: I can't think of the lyrics for code name backdrop "Hunt Another Day"; so I had to skip it)
Oso: Thanks, Paw Pilot. Special Assignment "Hunt Another Day" accepted.
(Back in Richmond, Whirlybird arrives at the school area)
(Oso is now in his agent vest)
Oso: Okay, Whirlybird! Time to eject!
Whirlybird: Ejector seat activated!
(Whirlybird ejects Oso; Oso then activates his parachute)
Whirlybird: Happy landings, Oso!
Oso: Thanks, Whirlybird!
(After landing to the ground, Oso goes through the school door.)
(While Jeff and Jocelyn are discussing, they hear a voice...)
Voice: Hi there!
Jeff and Jocelyn: Huh?
(They turn around and sees Oso.)
Jeff: Special Agent Oso! Are you here for a special assignment?
Oso: That's right, Jeff! I'm here to help you and Jocelyn play scavenger hunt.
Jocelyn: Wow, that's great!
Oso: (talks to Paw Pilot) Paw Pilot, what's our first step?
Paw Pilot: Step 1 - Read through the list.
Jeff: I know. We can take turns reading each paragraph.
Oso: Good idea, Jeff. Let me see the list.
(Jeff hands the list to Oso. Oso then looks through the list, and then hands it back to Jeff)
Oso: No problem.
(Jeff and Jocelyn look at each other then shake their heads)
Oso: Problem?
Paw Pilot: Here's a tip, Oso. Read the paragraphs out loud.
Oso: Read the paragraphs out loud. Well, that makes sense. Let me try again, Jeff.
(Jeff hands the list back to Oso.)
Oso: Hmm. It says, "First, find a flag that has red and white stripes with a blue square with stars in a place where you can read and check out books. The blue square is in the top left corner of the flag." Well I've read one paragraph, what's next?
(Oso hands the list back to Jeff.)
Jeff: (reading) "Next, find a sphere that has an orange surface and black ribs in a place where you can exercise and play sports."
(Jeff hands the list to Jocelyn.)
Jocelyn: (reading) "Finally, find a lost textbook under the ride that goes straight down at a place where you can take a break from taking school lessons."
Oso: We did it. We've read through the list!
Paw Pilot: Check 1. Now for Step 2 - Find the items on the list.
Jeff: Okay. The first item we need to find is a flag that has red and white stripes with a blue square with stars in a place where you can read and check out books.
Jocelyn: And the blue square is in the top left corner of the flag.
Oso: But where can we find a place to read and check out books?
Jeff: Hmmm. Wait! I know. The library.
Oso: Oh, of course! The library! It's where we read and check out books.
Jocelyn: The school has a library inside, Oso.
Oso: Okay, let's go.
(As they arrive to the school library,)
Oso: Hmm. I don't see a flag that has red and white stripes with a blue square with stars anywhere in this library.
Jeff: I have an idea. I have a paper and crayons. I can draw a flag.
(Jeff places a blank piece of paper on the table and begins drawing.)
Jeff: The flag is a rectangle, it has red and white stripes, and it has a blue square in the top left corner and it has stars in the square.
Jocelyn: Hey! I recognize this picture! It's a picture of a flag representing the United States.
Oso: Then the instructions are actually clues and we had to solve the clues first, like how we figured out where to find the places we do.
Paw Pilot: That's the tip, Oso.
Oso: I think I see flags. But there are so many. (talks to the viewer) I'm gonna need your help on this one.
(He walks to a flag.)
Oso: (asks the viewer) Is this the United States flag?
(The unseen and unspoken viewer tells Oso that's not the right flag.)
Oso: Hmm. This doesn't have a blue square and red stripes. This flag is plain white and has only a red circle in the middle. I guess this isn't the United States flag.
Jeff: That's a flag representing Japan, Oso.
(Oso walks to another flag.)
Oso: (asks the viewer) Is this the United States flag?
(The unseen and unspoken viewer tells Oso that it's not the right flag, either.)
Oso: I don't think so either. Those three stripes are black, yellow and red.
Jocelyn: That's a flag representing Germany, Oso.
(Oso walks to another flag.)
Oso: (asks the viewer) Is this the United States flag?
(The unseen and unspoken viewer tells Oso that is the right flag.)
Oso: It is! Thanks. We found the United States flag.
Jocelyn: Okay, the second item we need to find is a sphere that has an orange surface and black ribs in a place where you can exercise and play sports.
Oso: A place where you can exercise and play sports. Hey, I remember using workout machines in a gymnasium at the UNIQUE Headquarters. Does the school have a gymnasium?
Jeff: Yeah, it does. Then that's where we'll find the next item. Let's go!
(As they arrive at the gymnasium,)
Oso: Okay, now how can we find a sphere in this place?
Jocelyn: I have an idea. I've got a blank sheet of paper and crayons too. I can draw the sphere.
(Jocelyn begins drawing.)
Jocelyn: A sphere is a circle. It has an orange surface so the sphere is orange. And it has black ribs. The ribs shaped like this.
Jeff: Hey! I think I know what it is! It's a basketball!
Oso: I see a lot of balls. (talks to viewer) I'm gonna need your help on this one.
(Oso walks to a ball.)
Oso: (asks the viewer) Is this a basketball?
(The unseen and unspoken viewer tells Oso that's not the right ball.)
Oso: No. This ball is not orange and not round like a sphere. It's all brown.
Jeff: That's a football, Oso.
(Oso walks to another ball.)
Oso: (asks the viewer) Is this a basketball?
(The unseen and unspoken viewer tells Oso that's not the right ball, either.)
Oso: It's like a sphere and it has ribs, but it's not orange and the ribs aren't black. The ball's all white and the ribs are red.
Jocelyn: That's a baseball, Oso.
(Oso walks to another ball.)
Oso: (asks the viewer) Is this a basketball?
(The unseen and unspoken viewer tells Oso that's the right ball.)
Oso: It is! Thanks. We found the basketball.
(He picks up the basketball)
Jeff: Only one more item to find, a lost textbook under the ride that goes straight down at a place where you can take a break from taking school lessons.
Oso: A ride that goes straight down at a place where you can take a break from taking school lessons. That's the trickiest clue yet. I wonder what kind of place to go to to take a break from taking school lessons.
Jocelyn: Hey, I know. A recess is when we take a break from taking school lessons.
Jeff: And whenever we have recess, we go to the playground. We'll just have to go outside within the school area.
Oso: Check outside within the area. That sounds like something Dotty and Wolfie told me on my training exercise. Thanks, Jeff. Okay. Let's go to the playground.
(At the playground,)
Oso: Now the list says that the lost textbook is under a ride that goes straight down.
Jocelyn: I know, I can draw a picture.
(Jocelyn begins drawing)
Jocelyn: The ride goes from top to bottom. Maybe it has a ladder to get to the top.
Jeff: Oh! Oh! I know. I know what this is. It's a slide.
Oso: I see some things at the playground. (talks to the viewer) I'm really gonna need your help on this one.
(He walks to a setup.)
Oso: (asks the viewer) Is this a slide?
(The unseen and unspoken viewer tells Oso that's not the slide they're looking for.)
Oso: No. It goes up and down.
Jeff: That's a swing, Oso.
(Oso walks to another setup.)
Oso: (asks the viewer) Is this a slide?
(The unseen and unspoken viewer tells Oso that's not the slide they're looking for, either.)
Oso: No. I don't think so, either. It has two ladders on each end and a horizontal ladder on top.
Jocelyn: Those are monkey bars, Oso.
(Oso walks to another setup.)
Oso: (asks the viewer) Is this a slide?
(The unseen and unspoken viewer tells Oso that's the slide they're looking for.)
Oso: It is. Thanks!
(He looks under the slide.)
Oso: And there's the lost textbook. I can see it.
(He picks it up.)
Oso: We did it. We found all three items.
Paw Pilot: Great work Oso! Check 2. Now for Step 3 - Bring the items back to the teacher. But you better hurry Oso, school will be over in 13 seconds.
(The countdown begins...)
Paw Pilot: 13...
Jeff: We better get back to the classroom and fast.
Paw Pilot: 12...
Jocelyn: I know! We can take a shortcut.
Paw Pilot: 11...
Jocelyn: Look, there's the back door that leads to our classroom!
Paw Pilot: 10...
Oso: Okay, let's go!
Paw Pilot: ...9...
(They rushed to through the door...)
Paw Pilot: ...8...
(...through the hallway...)
Paw Pilot: ...7...
(...and back to the classroom.)
Paw Pilot: ...6...
Jeff: Here are the items.
Paw Pilot: ...5...
Jeff: An American flag...
Paw Pilot: ...4...
Jocelyn: ...a basketball...
Paw Pilot: ...3...
Oso: ...and a lost textbook.
Paw Pilot: ...2...
Teacher: With the help from Special Agent Oso, Jeff and Jocelyn wins the scavenger hunt!
Jeff, Jocelyn and Oso: Yay!
Paw Pilot: ...1! Assignment complete!
(The school bell rings)
Jocelyn: Thanks for teaching us how to play scavenger hunt, Oso.
Jeff: It was fun when you're around.
Oso: You're welcome, Jeff and Jocelyn. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a training exercise to complete.
(Hours after Oso completed his assignment and back in Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, Germany, it's getting dark)
(Oso is back in his red uniform)
Oso: I can't find the crown inside the castle, but thanks to Jocelyn and Jeff, I need to check outside within the castle area.
(Along the way...)
Oso: I see a sword in the stone.
(Oso pulled it out without any difficulties.)
Oso: Ha! No problem.
(He puts the sword in his sheath.)
Oso: Now to find the crown.
(Oso checked roof after roof until...)
Oso: There's the crown!
(He picked it up.)
Oso: Yes! I did it! Now on to the throne room!
(Later, at the throne room, Buffo in a tuxedo with a cape and top hat places the crown on Oso's head (Oso now has a blue mantle added to his uniform, and sitting on a throne). We also see Wolfie in a prince's uniform and mantle and wearing a crown, Dotty in a princess's outfit with a tiara, and Musa in a general's uniform.)
Buffo: Perfecto, King Oso! Perfect!
Wolfie: Outstanding, King Oso! (howling) Ouuuuuuuuutstanding!
Dotty: Spot on, King Oso! You've completed your training exercise.
(Musa then bows.)
Oso: Thanks, Count Buffo, Prince Wolfie, Princess Dotty, General Musa.
(Oso's watch blares)
Wolfie: Sounds like our boss is calling.
Oso: Mr. Dos?

Paw Pilot: Check 2 - You found the items on the list.
Oso: Jeff and Jocelyn helped by drawing pictures to solve the clues.
Paw Pilot: Check 3 - You returned the items to the teacher.

Dotty: Sure, Prince Wolfie.
(They dance.)
Oso: There's no more hunting around in this assignment.
(Oso, Buffo and Musa watch as Wolfie and Dotty continue to dance.)
