Simon David Kinberg (born August 2, 1973) is a British-born American screenwriter, director, and producer.
He has written screenplays for films, such as Mr. and Mrs. Smith, The X-Men movies, and Jumper.
For Disney, he created the Disney XD animated series, Star Wars Rebels. He also produced the 2015 live-action remake of Cinderella and the 21st Century Fox films: Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants. In addition, he was a creative consultant on Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
