"Sh-Boom" (sometimes referred to as "Life Could Be a Dream") is an early doo-wop song. It was written by James Keyes, Claude Feaster, Carl Feaster, Floyd F. McRae, and James Edwards, members of the R&B vocal group The Chords and published in 1954. It is featured in the 2006Disney/Pixar animated film, Cars and is on the Cars soundtrack album. It's also heard on the Jukebox Classics album which was published in the '50s.
In the mid-1980s, the song was made into a video on DTV and set to clips of classic Disney cartoons, including A Good Time for a Dime, Sleepy Time Donald, the Willie the Operatic Whale segment of Make Mine Music, and Symphony Hour.
This song is heard when Lightning McQueen shows off in the town after he fixes the stores' neon lights. This moment is re-created nightly at Cars Land at Disney California Adventure when the neon lights are turned on at sunset.
