Scott Innes is an American voice actor and radio personality. He succeeded the late Don Messick in the role of Scooby-Doo from 1998–2001, until he was replaced by Frank Welker. He also replaced Billy West as Shaggy Rogers from 1999–2001, when original portrayer, Casey Kasem, resumed the role. After the film, he continued to voice Scooby and Shaggy in video games and other products featuring their voices. Although that became considerably less when Matthew Lillard assumed the role for DTVs and TV series in 2009, leading to a bit of a feud between the two.
Innes is able to imitate a wide range of Hanna-Barbera characters, including both Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble, as well as non-HB characters, such as Popeye (coincidentally so can West).
According to Innes, Warner once coined and marketed him as the biggest Scooby-Doo collector due to his large collection of memorabilia, which he showed off in Scooby-Doo's Ultimate Fans, an extra from the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!: The Complete 1st and 2nd Seasons DVD set.
