Sawa is the second born cub in the royal family and daughter of Kion and Rani. She's a quite tall and bulky but strong for a lioness and resembles greatly father (that's how she got her name), only having inherited his mother's chocolate brown eyes. Her destiny is one day to become the leader of the Night Pride and the protector of the Tree of Life. And to also be Queen one day. Compared to her brother, Sawa's more calm, mature and responsible and takes her lessons more seriously than Raja. She's fully aware that she lacks the stamina when it comes to running and that she isn't a very good in sensing the potential threat quickly enough before she's bounced on by someone, mainly by her brother. These lacks cause her to doubt herself and believe that she is not good enough nor fitful to lead the Night Pride. Like her parents, she possess the ability to talk to her deceased grandparents, and whenever her doubts get best of her, she seeks the wisdom and advice from her grandparents and sometimes from both her father and mother. Her self-doubting and lack of some abilities also make her emotionally vulnerable, which often leads her to go angry at her brother Raja if he'd decided to play a prank on her at the wrong time. However, Sawa loves her little brother deeply and is quick to forgive him. Sawa also appreciates Raja's determined attempts to make it up for her... but only if he truly tries to do so from his heart rather than trying to avoid the word "I'm sorry" out of pride.
