Samuel Leroy Jackson is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, and film producer, who is best known for his role as Mace Windu in the Star Wars prequels, and he reprised the role in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars film, albeit not in the series itself. He voiced Mace's Force Ghost in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Archive recording of him can be heard in the Star Wars: Clone Wars episode "Shattered".

Apart from said roles, he has voiced Frozone in the 2004 Disney/Pixar film The Incredibles and it's 2018 sequel, he reprised the role again in the video game of the same name based on the first film and he was also the narrator of the 2011 Disneynature film African Cats.

He was also known for portraying Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films in Iron Man, Iron Man 2Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of UltronAvengers: Infinity WarCaptain MarvelAvengers: EndgameSpider-Man: Far From Home and Secret Invasion. He also portrayed him in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. television series in two episodes of the first season.

He even provided the speaking voice of Nick Fury in Disney Infinity: 2.0 Edition. He also played the role of Elijah Price in Unbreakable and Glass. Additionally, he voiced Agent Joseph in The Proud Family.

Additional Disney roles include portraying Jules Winnfield in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction (for which he earned a nomination for Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor), Ordell Robbie in Jackie Brown, and Rufus in Kill Bill Vol. 2.

Outside of Disney, he played Detective John Shaft II in the Shaft film series alongside Richard Roundtree, Stephen in Django Unchained, and Major Marquis Warren in The Hateful Eight and voiced Whiplash in DreamWorks' Turbo as well as Frank Tenpenny in Rockstar Games'/2K Games' popular Open-World Crime drama video game, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
