Ryan Rodney Reynolds is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, film producer, and screenwriter. He is well-known for his roles in various films, such as the Marvel superhero Deadpool in the 20th Century Fox films: X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Deadpool, and Deadpool 2. He also voiced Guy and the titular snail in DreamWorks' The Croods and Turbo (respectively). Additionally, he both voiced Pikachu and portrayed Harry Goodman in the 2019 Pokémon video game adaptation, Detective Pikachu.
For Disney, he played Wade Early in the 1998 television film, Tourist Trap, Andrew Paxton in the 2009 Touchstone Pictures film, The Proposal, and Spence in an episode of the ABC/NBC TV show, Scrubs. He also stars in the 2021 20th Century Studios film, Free Guy. He will also reprise his role as Deadpool in Deadpool 3, set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
