Robert Ray "Rod" Roddy was an American radio and television announcer. In Rod's radio career, he was a disc jockey and talk show host on KLIF and KNUS-FM in Dallas, Texas, working overnights and mid-days at the Buffalo, New York radio station WKBW AM. Rod's television career includes announcing on the 1970s sitcom "Soap", replacing Casey Kasem in 1977, and game shows, such as Whew! (1979), the pilot episode of Pandemonium (1979), the pilot episode of Scrabble (1983), Press Your Luck (1983-1986), Love Connection (1983-1985, 1986), and most notably, The Price is Right (1986-2003). From 1981-1983, Rod occasionally substitute announced on Family Feud (1976-1985) and The $25,000 Pyramid (1982-1988).

His only Disney role was providing the voice of Microphone Mike in House of Mouse.

He was overweight for most of his adult life, but after becoming a permanent announcer for The Price Is Right, he adopted a rigorous diet and exercise program. The program resulted in Roddy losing close to 200 pounds.

During most of his tenure as announcer on The Price is Right, he was noted for wearing brightly colored and sequined sport jackets made in Thailand, which he was the official ambassador of Chang Mai.
