Robert Hepler "Rob" Lowe is an American actor and comedian. He garnered fame after appearing in films, such as The Outsiders , Oxford Blues , About Last Night... , St. Elmo's Fire , Mune: The Guardian of the Moon , Wayne's World , Tommy Boy , and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me . He is the older brother of actor Chad Lowe . Rob Lowe was also on the NBC show Parks and Rec, portraying Chris Traeger.
For Disney , he voiced Simba in the Disney Junior animated series, The Lion Guard (replacing Matthew Broderick ). He also played Robert McCallister in the ABC TV show, Brothers & Sisters and Colonel Ethan Willis in the CBS /ABC Studios TV show, Code Black . He also played Steve Bench in the 2003 Miramax Films comedy, View from the Top . He also plays Owen Strand in the 20th Television show 9-1-1: Lone Star.
