The Director is the head of production of Riley’s film crew who helps Riley herself with her filming on The Riley Andersen Show.

While he does have his outbursts, he is shown to be very understanding of Riley. If Riley isn't feeling well, he will order the film crew to go "no cameras" so Riley will feel comfortable.
