Primrose Path is an 1993 faning computer-animated action adventure comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Pictures and distributed by Buena Vista Pictures Distribution, Inc..
Film Summary
In 1980, Autumn Garden Productions introduced what was probably the best educational children's show ever, Primrose Path, a heartwarming, fun, cute, and entertaining tv show that taught children important lessons in life, morality, and compassion using creativity, music, culture, and a memorably colorful cast, consisting of "Sweet Girl" Abbie, "Big Friendly" Noah the Dog, "Cool Musician" Blues Bear, "Narrator" Bennie Howard, "Culturalist" Miss Vanessa, "Friendly Monsters" Flit and Puffer, and of course, "Friendly Guy" Omar the Octopus. Unfortunately, despite Primrose Path being loved and admired by all families alike, it could not ignore the growing popularity of corrupt rival company Popov Productions' rising star tv show Misha, which taught children false morals and mean behavior. Despite Primrose Path's desparate efforts to win back the fans that Misha "swiped" from them, Popov Productions forced Autumn Garden to cancel the beloved show.
33 years later, Recently college graduated Krystal Mercado comes to Autumn Garden Productions to fulfill her dream as a writer for television. A true fan of the fallen company, Krystal sees how out-of-shape Autumn Garden has become since the cancellation of Primrose Path. Determined to restore the company, Krystal gets the epiphany of asking the octopus of Primrose Path himself, Omar Octopus to help. However, Omar, who is now old and grumpy, has become skeptical of helping due to holding the grudge of being cancelled and betrayed by the public. Through bonding and understanding, Krystal, Omar, and a group of amazing characters will take you on an adventure, teaching us how to stay young at heart no matter how old we are.
