Phyllis Diller was an American actress, voice actress, and stand-up comedian who voiced The Queen in the 1998 Disney/Pixar film, A Bug's Life.
She also hosted the Mouse Factory episode "Spooks and Magic" in the guise of a witch who shared her name and demeanor but was apparently the niece of Madam Mim, over four hundred years old, and the interim Ghost Host of the Haunted Mansion. She guest-starred in episode 118 of The Muppet Show.
She also appeared on the TV Special, Christmas at Walt Disney World.
Part of her stand-up routine was her self-deprecating humor and a funny laugh she made afterward. The laugh was incorporated into her character in A Bug's Life.
