Peter Szymon Serafinowicz is an English actor, comedian, writer, composer, voice artist, and director. He is best known for dubbing the voice of Maul, a Battle Droid Commander, and a Gungan Scout in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and for appearing in a variety of British and American comedy shows.
Some of his other Disney-related roles include Darth Maul in Star Wars: Battlefront II, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, and Lego Star Wars: The Video Game, and himself in the 2005 TV documentary Stars Wars: Feel the Force. He was going to make a cameo appearance in Disney's 2014 comedy musical film, Muppets Most Wanted, but his scene was cut at the last minute. He also played Denarian Saal in the 2014 Marvel science-fiction film, Guardians of the Galaxy. He later voiced Blind Ivan, in the Gravity Falls episode, "Society of the Blind Eye".
