Patrick Galen Dempsey is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Derek Shepherd in the ABC sitcom Grey's Anatomy.
For Disney, he voiced Kenai in the 2006 direct-to-DVD film, Brother Bear 2 (replacing Joaquin Phoenix) and played Robert Philip in the 2007 Disney film, Enchanted. He also played Andrew Hennings, in the 2002 Touchstone Pictures film, Sweet Home Alabama, Charlie Farrow in Run, Ronald Miller in Can't Buy Me Love, and Kellin Taylor in the 1986 Disney Sunday Movie A Fighting Choice. In addition, he produced the 2019 Fox film, The Art of Racing in the Rain and Turning Red 3 (2028)
He was mentioned in the Muppets episode "Pig's in a Blackout".
