Pandora's Box is a 1997 2D Walt Disney Animated Film written by Andrew Niccol and directed by Luc Besson.

It features the voice talents of Natalie Portman, Sean Connery, William H. Macy and Alfre Woodard.

It is the second Walt Disney Film to deal with Greek Mythology and was subsequently released the same year as Walt Disney's Hercules.

The Unseen god Zeus conjures up the first mortal woman Pandora (Natalie Portman) whom he gives to the lonely aggressive god Epithemeus (Sean Connery).

Pandora is also handed over with a box which has been trickenly encursed by Epithemeus' evil god of fire brother Promotheus (William H. Macy).

Pandora also has a sidekick friend in the form of a Willow Tree Nymph named Willow (Alfre Woodard).

Eventually the curious Pandora opens the box and releases all the evils of the world and must race out to find a way to enclose the box preventing hope from escaping and preventing the gods and her husband from knowing.

Promotheus however has plans to ensure hope is lost in the world and the evils remain so he may rise to be the most powerful god and has a plan to eliminate the young Pandora.
