Omar Orson Octopus is the deutagonist and male protagonist of the Disney/Pixar movie Primrose Path. He was part of the main cast of the popular, influential, and beloved educational tv show Primrose Path in the the early 1980s as well as one of the writers, before it was tragically forced-cancelled by the growing popularity of rival tv show Misha in 1988. He would spend the next 33 years holding the grudge of being betrayed the public while struggling with live his life until he finally was brought back to his senses by a just-as-kind and devoted fan.
Omar is a 61 year old mint colored octopus with black olive eyes. He has a white bushy mustache covering the top of his mouth with matching eyebrows. He usaully wears a worned-out licorice-black bowler hat when outside his house, this hat also happens to be the same hat he wore back in his Primrose Path days.
Back in the past when he was in the tv, Omar was a much younger octopus with more slimmer and thin eyebrows and his bowler hat was newer back then.
During the movie, Omar admits to Krystal that he started to grow out his mustache when his son Omar Jr. turned twelve years old in order to look more "fatherly".
