Officer Beaples

Officer Beaples is a dancing road safety officer who is largely non-verbal and who keeps the community of Wiggle Town safe when crossing the road.

They were originally believed to be female, despite their credits in Wiggledance! and The Wiggles Movie ("Policeperson" and "Policeman"), because of the line in "Let's Go (We're Riding In The Big Red Car)" "We'll all be waving to her too." and also being portrayed by females.
- During The Original Wiggles Reunion Show For Bush Fire Relief; however, Anthony refers to Officer Beaples as "they", indicating that they are non-binary and use they/them pronouns. With the announcement of Fruit Salad TV, it was then confirmed that they are non-binary.
They first debuted in 1996 in Wiggledance!, not under the name Officer Beaples, but under the "Policeperson" seen in the "Dorothy the Dinosaur" song.
Apart from their appearances in The Wiggles Movie and Wiggle Town!, they never talk. They speak by gestures and whistles, making them nonverbal.
They were more of a main character around 1998-2000.
Every so often, they have been seen with a moustache.
They were officially given their name "Officer Beaples" in Series 1.
Sometimes, their name is spelt like "Officer Beeples".
Most of the time they communicate using gestures. The first time they spoke was in The Wiggles Movie.
They are the only character to be visually shown to have a different person portray them even though Anthony did play Captain Feathersword in earlier videos.
Oficer Beaples doesn't appears in Hoop-Dee-Doo it's a Wiggly Party.
