The episode was met with generally positive reviews for it's humour, the return of The CCC and the roles of Craig and Matty M. Scrubbs. Some also said it was sad that Reginald Adair died, but felt it was a nice way to see him go. The episode did have a few mixed reviews because of some filler and cultural references.
