Mother Goose: Rhymes To The Rescue is an E-rated video game from Disney Interactive Studios based on the movie of the same name.

Plot[]

Join the characters from your favorite nursery rhymes as they set out to rescue Mother Goose and Rhymeville from the wicked, child-hating Ill Wills. Switch characters as they each have different abilities, collect pages from Mother Goose's book, collect figurines, and fight Ill Wills on this fantastic rhyming adventure to come with whoop, and come with a call, come with a goodwill or come not at all.

Playable Characters[]

  • Mother Goose: Creator of all the nursery rhymes. She can be playable in the final level to defeat Commander Will.
  • Old MacDonald: The farmer from the song of his namesake. He can fight with his rake, call his dog, Bingo, ride his horse, Marshall, and send a bull to charge.
  • Little Bo Peep: The shepherdess from the rhyme of her namesake. She can fight with her shepherd's crook and send her sheep to stampede.
  • Peter-Peter Pumpkin-Eater: The pumpkin farmer from the rhyme of his namesake. He can throw pumpkins.
  • Mary-Mary Quite Contrary: The gardener from the rhyme of her namesake. She can use her garden supplies for gardening.
  • Peter Piper: The pepper farmer from the tongue twister of his namesake. He can fire pickled peppers from his slingshot.
  • Jack Sprat: From the nursery rhyme of his namesake. He can jump over candles and on enemies as well as smack them with a stick of celery.
  • Mrs. Sprat: Jack's heavyset wife. She can wrestle enemies and bounce on them.
  • Wee Willie Winkie: The town crier from the rhyme of his namesake. He can run and shine his flashlight.
  • Mary and her little lamb: The school girl and her pet sheep from Mary had a Little Lamb. Both played as one, Mary can fight with her backpack and her lamb can kick.
  • Little Jack Horner: From the nursery of his namesake. He can throw Christmas pies.
  • The Butcher: From Rub-a-Dub-Dub. He can chop with his cleaver and whack enemies with a ham.
  • The Baker: From Rub-a-Dub-Dub. He can smack with his rolling pin.
  • The Candlestick Maker: From Rub-a-Dub-Dub. He can heat things up with his candelabra.
  • The Crooked Man: From the rhyme of his namesake. He can hit enemies with his crooked cane as well as call his crooked cat and mouse to attack enemies.
  • Old King Cole: The monarch from the nursery rhyme of his namesake. He can use his pipe and bowl as well as call his horses and men to charge.
  • Humpty Dumpty: The egg from the nursery rhyme of his namesake. He can climb walls and flatten enemies by rolling himself.
  • The Lion: From the Lion and the Unicorn. He is an expert fighter because of his claws and fangs.
  • The Unicorn: From the Lion and the Unicorn. He is an expert fighter because of his hooves and horn.
  • Hickory Dickory Dock: The mouse from the rhyme of his namesake. He can crawl into small spaces and climb clocks.
  • The Itsy Bitsy Spider: The arachnid of his namesake. He can climb waterspouts and has many uses for his silk.
  • Goosey-Goosey Gander: Mother Goose's gray goose named after the rhyme of his namesake. He can fly and peck with his bill.
  • The Cat: The feline from Hey Diddle Diddle. He can play his fiddle and use it as a weapon.
  • The Cow: The bovine from Hey Diddle Diddle. She can jump over the moon, land on enemies, and squirt milk.
  • The Little Dog: The canine from Hey Diddle Diddle. He can laugh, dig, and play rough on enemies.
  • The Dish and the Spoon: The plate and utensil from Hey Diddle Diddle. Both played as one, they can both run while the dish can use herself as a shield and the spoon can use himself as a catapult.

  • Bingo: Old MacDonald's dog from the song of his namesake. He is called by his master to attack enemies.
  • Marshall: Old MacDonald's horse. He is never playable unless his master rides him.
  • Old MacDonald's bull: He is called by the farmer to charge.
  • Little Bo Peep's sheep: They are called by their mistress to stampede.
  • The crooked cat and mouse: Pets of the Crooked Man. They are called by their owner to attack enemies.
  • All the King's Horses and All the King's Men: Old King Cole's cavalry. They are called by His Majesty to attack.
  • Ride A. Cockhorse: The living hobby horse news reporter.

Enemies[]

  • Ill Wills: Living sheets of paper with inkwells for feet who hate children and nursery rhymes, the players must defeat them in every level
  • Strong Will: The first boss to be defeated by any player
  • Pen monster: A monster that looks like a fountain pen, the second boss to be defeated by any player
  • Judge Will: The third boss to be defeated by any player
  • Eraser monster: A monster that looks like a pink eraser, the fourth boss to be defeated by any player
  • Commander Will: Leader of the Ill Wills, the final boss to be defeated by Mother Goose at the end of the final level
