Mickey's Casablanca is a 2013 American animated short film cartoon. It was originally shown in cinemas alongside Pierrick's Great Adventure of Walt Disney World USA. produced by Walt Disney Productions and distributed by Buena Vista Distribution Company. It was directed by Donovan Cook.and produced by Dan Rounds The cartoon is an adaptation of Casablanca is a 1942 with Mickey Mouse as Bogart and Pinocchio and Princess Aurora as his namesake and inspiration, Victor Lazlo and Ilsa. Many other Disney characters, primarily from the Mickey Mouse universe, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, were cast throughout the film.
Plot[]
A German secret document is stolen and Moe Simpson (Jiminy Cricket as Ugarte), the actual thief, lures Jacob Money (Mickey Mouse as Bogart) into taking it. General Pandemonium (Pete as Major Strasser) gets a frantic call from Donald Duck saying the secret document has been stolen, and immediately heads for the Casablanca nightclub---the Cafe Au Lait Americain.
Meanwhile Plazlo (Pinocchio as Victor Lazlo) and his wife Jasmine McDora (Princess Aurora as Ilsa) arrive at the hotel. Jasmine attracts the unwanted attention of Captain Louis (Prince Philip) but she scratches him and throws him into the wall. Jasmine, who happens to be a former girlfriend of Jacob, asks Homer David (Goofy as Sam) to play her favorite song. General Pandemonium suspects Plazlo may know about the document and binds him in his office. Jasmine pleads with Jacob to help Plazlo out of this. Though Jacob is initially reluctant due to the fact that Jasmine broke his heart, he goes to the General's office nevertheless and confuses the General himself into jail.
The story climaxes with Plazlo and Jasmine escaping on the plane for Toronto, New York City and Cucamonga, as Jacob watches them go... except that they find Louis on the plane working as a steward. Louis asks Jasmine, "Coffee, tea, or moi?", causing her to jump out, seemingly without a parachute, landing right in front of Jacob. They kiss, then the parachute opens, covering them.
