Michael Allen Rooker is an American actor, who is probably best known for his role as Merle Dixon on the AMC series The Walking Dead.
For Disney, Rooker is best known for his role as Yondu in the 2014 Marvel superhero film, Guardians of the Galaxy, a role which he reprised in the 2017 sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
