Mark Robert Michael Wahlberg is an American actor, comedian, producer, businessman, and former model and rapper, who was known as Marky Mark in his earlier years, and became famous for his 1991 debut as the frontman of the band Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. He is a former member of the boy band, New Kids on the Block. He is also well known for his roles in films, such as Dirk Diggler in the 1997 comedy Boogie Nights, Charlie Croker in 2003's The Italian Job, Cade Yeager in the Transformers film series, John Bennett in the Ted films, and Dusty Mayron in the Daddy's Home films.
For Disney, he played Vince Papale in the 2006 Disney biographical sports film, Invincible and Private Tommy Lee Haywood in the 1994 Touchstone Pictures film, Renaissance Man.
