- Originally, the series was going to be called Anne and Luz and have Anne Boonchuy be the main protagonist alongside Luz, but this was changed to Marcy for some unknown reason. Both Matt and Dana expressed their disappointment over this change as they loved the concept of Anne and Luz being friends, but they said they could manage to make Luz being friends with Marcy work somehow.
