Luca "Mario" Paguro is the main protagonist superhero character of the 2022 Disney•Pixar•Nintendo animated feature video game series, Super Luca Bros.. He is a human that he is a plumber by his brother Alberto Scorfano (Luigi) to go on adventures. Once he discovers a princess from the mushroom kingdom, but he find out a evil turtle human named Ercole (Bowser) that he captures the princess and sent away from the dark castle, Luca (Mario) and Alberto (Luigi) must save the princess from the dark castle, and they go on adventure to save the princess from the dark castle, so they defended Ercole (Bowser) and they save the princess and see the world together.

Luca "Mario" Paguro is a bright and inventive 12-year-old human with endless curiosity – he is from mushroom kingdom. Although he's been saving the princess from Bowser, he longs for something beyond his kingdoms life where the toads day after day. So when he went another adventure with his brother, but he will use a power-ups to attack enemies.[1]

Luca is slender with fair skin, rosy cheeks, brown eyes, dark brown curly hair, and black line mustache. He wears a red hat with a letter "M", red sweater, blue overalls, white gloves and brown shoes, but Pixar and Nintendo change a new design of Luca (Mario) by using Mario Movie design. In a new design, He wears a red bump hat with a letter "M", red plumber shirt, blue overalls with dark blue stitches and a pocket, white gloves with the cut of the cuffs and brown shoes with orange shoelaces.

- Luca (Mario) is Pixar's sixth hero character, the others being Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Lightning McQueen, Mr. Incredible, and Ian Lightfoot.
- Luca (Mario) is based on Mario from Super Mario franchise. He chose the name, Luca (Mario), over his own because he felt it would be easier for foreign countries to say that name rather than his own.
- Luca (Mario)'s new design is loosely recycled from the character of Mario from Illumination's film The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
