Jump scares and infamy[]
This episode is infamous for it's scary imagery, jump scares, appearances of the faces and darkness.
It was reported that 3 American viewers and 4 British viewers had heart attacks while watching this episode, but thankfully, no one died.
The episode has since banned in some countries and is now only shown after 9pm in the UK and USA, making it the eighth episode overall to receive controversy, the first seven were Glow Disco, Rockery Beach of Doom, Coke and Mirrors, Suicidal Stephanie, Smoking Problem, Hot Shot George and Stone Shower.
After the controversy, all future airings of the episode included a jump scare warning at the beginning.
Reception[]
Despite it's controversy, the episode was met with positive reviews for it's darkness, story, character development and major plot points. It was however initially criticized, due to it's controversial nature.
