King Samarth is a minor character in Disney's 2009 animated feature film The Princess and the Frog and a major character in its 2025sequel. He is the king of Maldonia, the husband of Queen Agneta and the father of Prince Naveen and Ralphie who forces her oldest son to become a different person due to his laziness and marry a princess of his life. She and her husband arrived in the end of the first film attending their son and Tiana's wedding and later ate at Tiana's Palace along Tiana's mother Eudora.
