Kevin Delaney Kline is an American film and stage actor, voice actor, comedian, and singer. He is known for many films, such as The Big Chill, Silverado, A Fish Called Wanda, Dave, In & Out, Wild, Wild West and The Pink Panther. He also voiced Tulio in the 2000 DreamWorks animated film, The Road to El Dorado and Chef Andre in the 2008 adaptation of The Tale of Desperaux.
For Disney, he provided the voice of Phoebus in the 1996 Disney animated feature film, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the animated storybook, and its 2002 sequel. He also played Maurice in the 2017 live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. He even played Richard Parker in Consenting Adults, and will also voice Clotaire (Phoebus' father) in Captain Phoebus (prequel series to The Hunchback of Notre Dame).

- The role of Inspector Gadget in the Inspector Gadget film was written with him in mind.
- For his voice work as Phoebus, directors Kirk Wise and Gary Trousdale gave him a sword. They also named the horse Achilles because it was funny to hear him say “Achilles, heel.”
