Lauren Keyana "Keke" Palmer is an American actress, singer-songwriter, dancer, fashion designer, voice actress, and activist, who was best known for her role as the titular protagonist on the Nickelodeon sitcom True Jackson, VP from 2009 to 2011. She currently portrays Zayday Williams on the Fox horror comedy-drama Scream Queens.
Her first acting gig was as the niece of Queen Latifah's character in the 2004 film. Barbershop 2: Back in Business. Between 2004 and 2006, she appeared in episodes of several TV series. She played a supporting role in the film, Madea's Family Reunion, and starred in Akeelah and the Bee. She also voiced teen/young adult Peaches in the Ice Age franchise and Aisha in the Nickelodeon dub of Winx Club. She even guest starred as Stylee from Bubble Guppies.
For Disney, she starred in Jump In! as Mary Thomas, along with Corbin Bleu. She also sang two songs for her Disney Channel Original Movie: one called "It's My Turn Now", and the other called "Jumpin'". She can be heard on Disneymania 5 singing "Reflection" from Mulan. In addition, she has signed a record deal with Atlantic Records, and is currently working on her debut music album. She was added as a substitute host on ABC's Strahan and Sara, but was so popular that the show became Strahan, Sara and Kiki.
