Mary Kathleen Turner is an American film and stage actress, voice actress, and director, known for her distinctive husky voice. Turner rose to fame during the 1980 in films such as Body Heat (1981), The Man with Two Brains (1983), Crimes of Passion (1984), Romancing the Stone (1984), and Prizzi's Honor (1985), winning two Golden Globe Awards and nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress.
Turner's only known Disney role was providing the speaking voice of Jessica Rabbit in Touchstone Pictures' Who Framed Roger Rabbit and in the Roger Rabbit cartoons Tummy Trouble, Roller Coaster Rabbit, and Trail Mix-Up. She also portrayed the title character in the 1991 Hollywood Pictures film, V.I. Warshawski.
